The Importance of the Pitch

This blog is less of a blog and more of a pitch. Pitching to your potential clients and customers about what you have to offer and why they need it is an important part of growing any business. You may have even perfected your face to face networking pitch. In just a few short sentences you should be able to clearly and concisely communicate exactly what you're selling.

According to Michael Hyatt here are the 4 components that your elevator pitch should consist of:

Component 1: Your product name and category.
Component 2: The problem you are attempting to solve.
Component 3: Your proposed solution.

Component 4: The key benefit of your solution.

While your initial interaction and pitch will gain the attention and interest of a potential client, it is not the only important part of selling. Most times, if the person is interested, you would exchange businesses cards and information. When they get home or the next day in the office, what are they going to do? They are going to look you up online. They are going to check out your website to see if your marketing materials and online presence are as amazing as the idea they heard last night at the networking event.

If you have an amazing product or service, you must have an amazing online presence to accurately represent your brand. Of course, that’s what we do! Plus, we make it affordable for small businesses and startups to have that amazing online presence for your business to grow. Check out our prices.

Stay tuned next week for a video of our pitch. In the meantime, share your pitch with us on Facebook or Twitter and we’ll retweet and share our favorites with our followers.
